The branch church dedicated to Saint Urban, commonly called Urbanek, is located about 2 km from the center of Tworków. Situated on an elevation among fields, the church was built in the late Baroque style. It was erected at the end of the 18th century in place of the previous wooden one, mentioned in 1687. The present bell tower, crowned with a cupola dome and an octagonal lantern, was added in 1869 in place of the previous wooden one. Above the entrance is the date of construction -- 1779 -- and a circular medallion with the letters PX. From the north, a sacristy adjoins with a patron's loft on the upper floor, decorated with a heraldic cartouche of the Eichendorff family coat of arms. The two-aisled nave was erected on a square plan with beveled corners at the presbytery. The interior is covered with a flat wooden ceiling. The central place inside the church is occupied by a Rococo altar dating from the time of the church's construction. It is decorated with a contemporary image depicting Saint Urban and the figures of the founders. Within the church, Protestant parishioners and residents of Tworków who were victims of 19th-century cholera and typhus epidemics were buried. Urbanek is a pilgrimage church. Every year on May 25, parishioners from Tworków go in a solemn procession with the statue of Saint Urban from their parish church. On the feast day, residents of Bolesławiec, Owsiszcze, Bieńkowice, and even residents of Czech Háč also come to the pilgrimage. The second time Mass for the faithful in Urbanek is celebrated on the feast of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary on August 15.
