The church in Chroscina Opolska is a parish temple with a rich history dating back to the Middle Ages. The first mentions of the church appear as early as 1371. In the 15th century, the Wroclaw bishop founded the main altar here, which confirms the importance of this religious center in the Middle Ages.
At the end of the 18th century, the temple suffered in a fire, after which it was rebuilt using the surviving walls. The new volume gained a classical style, characteristic of that period. The church is brick, plastered and oriented. Its chancel is roughly square in shape and is closed by a straight wall.
One of the most interesting elements of this sacred complex is the Gothic bell tower-gate standing in front of the church. Built in the 15th century, it consists of three stories - the lower parts are brick from sod clay, the upper parts are brick. The structure serves a dual function: as the entrance gate to the church grounds and as a bell tower. In the 20th century, the upper part was restored, the helm was restored and stairs were added leading to the first floor.
The interior of the church contains valuable artifacts from the 18th century, including altars and a font. The church in Chroscina Opolska is an important historical point in the region.
