The church of the Holy Trinity in Bierawa is a historic Roman Catholic church. It was built in the second half of the 16th century from the endowment of Peter Dluhomina (a founder's gravestone is located in the church, behind the main altar), then as a Protestant church.
In 1614, a tower was added to it with a Renaissance sgraffito decoration that survives to this day. In the 18th century, a northern chapel was built and a Baroque main altar was created, and the church came under Catholic control.
A Baroque statue of St. John Nepomucene from the 18th century stands next to the church. During the restoration of the tower in 1999, historical documents were found, which were copied and placed again in a ball under the cross. The church initially served as an evangelical temple, and from the 18th century, as a Catholic one, it is an important spiritual and cultural point of the Bierawa municipality. Today it attracts both believers and lovers of history and architecture, serving as a testimony to centuries of tradition and local heritage.
